Police responded to the Dunkin Donuts on County Road on Saturday, Aug. 22, at about 6 p.m. for a report of a male customer who was making the store's female employees feel uncomfortable.
The restaurant manager told the police officer that the man — a 23-year-old Barrington resident — had twice followed women when they went outside the shop. He also allegedly followed an employee into a bathroom when she went to clean it a day earlier. The employee said the man did not touch her or speak to her, but she still felt uncomfortable.
The officer approached the man, who had started to pack up his things and asked him a series of questions. The man would not answer the officer, but agreed to leave the restaurant and stay away. He was issued a no trespassing order.
