Williams College senior forward and Barrington native Libby Dolan has been named a Third Team All-American (Division III) by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).
The All-American honor is the third honor this fall bestowed upon Libby — she was also named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference First Team and to the First Team NFHCA All-New England West Team.
"I am beyond excited for Libby and her recent honor as an NFHCA All-American," said Williams College head coach Alix Barrale. "Her recognition is well deserved and reflects her dedication to the Williams field hockey program over the past four years. It is a fitting end to an outstanding career. I could not be more proud of her."
Libby was a forward for the Williams College Field Hockey team and finished the 2018 season with 13 goals, which ranked her third in the NESCAC in goals scored. She had 7 game-winning goals this season.
During her four years at Williams College, Libby scored 36 goals and notched 7 assists. She was her team's leading goal-scorer each of the past two seasons and her 36 career goals tie her for sixth place on the Williams College Field Hockey all-time career goals scored list.
This year, Williams finished its season with a 12-5 overall record and a number 12 ranking in the National Division 3 poll.
