Parents file complaint, allege inappropriate behavior by sitter

A Barrington husband and wife told police that they believe the babysitter they hired may have been taking pictures of their children.

On Monday, Sept. 24, the parents told officers that their older child was acting differently and they suspected inappropriate behavior by the babysitter.

The sitter, who is not from Barrington, had been working for the local couple for three weeks. The parents confronted the babysitter and she denied the accusation. The parents decided to fire the sitter, and police are now investigating.
