The Barrington Police Department is seeking the public's help in a recent larceny case.

The department released images of a man wanted for questioning in connection with a theft that occurred at the Barrington Public Library on Friday, Jan. 19.

Three images show a man with short, dark hair and sunglasses, wearing black pants, a black shirt and a black leather jacket moving around the teen room at the library.

A surveillance camera captured the images from 1:46 to about 2 p.m. on Jan. 19.

One image shows the man carrying what appears to be a laptop computer.

"If anyone recognizes the person in the photo please call the Barrington Police unrecorded tip line at 401-437-3933," stated a press release from the police.
