An Alfred Drown Road resident in Barrington stopped into the police station on Monday, Aug. 13, to report a larceny.
The woman said that about a month ago she discovered some of her jewelry was missing. She searched for the jewelry, but could not find it, so she decided to call police.
The resident told an officer that she has had various people inside her home — some of them unaccompanied. The woman asked police not to contact any of the people who had been in her home, but instead check on the pawn store website for the missing pieces of jewelry.
The resident estimated the value of the missing jewelry to be about $5,000.
