'Hate Has No Home Here' lawn signs have been stolen across town

The Barrington Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspects involved in the theft of a "Hate Has No Home Here" lawn sign earlier this month.

The police recently released a video recorded by a surveillance system, which shows someone running up and grabbing a sign, and then sprinting to a waiting vehicle on New Meadow Road. The theft depicted on the video took place at about 9:35 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2 outside Temple Habonim.

A handful of residents across Barrington also reported their "Hate Has No Home Here" lawn signs had been stolen this month. 

Anyone with more information is asked to call the Barrington Police confidential tip line at 401-437-3933.
