Barrington Police are investigating a break-in that occurred at a Great Road home late Saturday night, Feb. 12.
The female resident told police she was asleep and at around 11:45 p.m. woke up to see a male teenager standing in her bedroom doorway.
The resident told police the teenager ran out of the home carrying a pair of her pants. He dropped the pants on the back steps, and fled the property.
Police responded to the home and searched the surrounding area for the suspect. Police also spoke with another resident who had discovered video footage of the same teenager creeping onto the home’s front porch.
Police said there was no evidence of forced entry at the home where the break-in occurred. Police are still investigating.
