Barrington school's spooky stroll is tonight!

The 5th annual Primrose Hill School Spooky Stroll is taking place on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

People are welcome to come and see hundreds of carved pumpkins light up the fields of Primrose Hill School on Middle Highway in Barrington.

The evening features hayrides courtesy of Four Town Farm and on-site kettle corn making by Wicked Good kettle corn of Westport, Mass. The entrance fee is $3.

Costumes are encouraged for kids. Enjoy shopping at the "boutique" for fun Halloween themed items and there is a bake sale.

Proceeds benefit the Primrose Hill PTO and the event is rain or shine.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
