Barrington, Seekonk, E.P. crews battle fire at Old Chimney Road home

A bathroom fan is to blame for a fire at an Old Chimney Road home in Barrington on Wednesday night, Dec. 2. According to the Barrington Fire Department, a fire started in a second floor bathroom fan at 30 Old Chimney Road and then spread into the attic. Firefighters from Barrington responded to the blaze and were assisted by Seekonk and East Providence crews. The firefighters were able to confine the fire to the attic area and eventually extinguish the blaze.
