Elizabeth Lewis and Maggie Miniati each scored goals and Julia Soares notched two assists as the Barrington High School field hockey team defeated Moses Brown 2-1 on Thursday, Oct. 22, and captured the regular season division title.

Barrington entered the game with a 15-1-1 record while Moses Brown had a 16-1 mark. With the victory Barrington improved to 16-1-1, just ahead of Moses Brown.

The Eagles and Quakers have battled for the top spot in the top division for some time. The two teams met earlier this season when both squads were undefeated, and the Eagles grabbed a 2-0 victory. They also played in last year's state championship game, where the Eagles came up just short.
