The Barrington 10U Majors All Star team punched its ticket to the District 2 finals when it defeated Tiverton, 7-1, on Tuesday, July 11.
Barrington's Alex Anderson had a strong day on the mound, pitching five solid innings while allowing only only run. Meanwhile, Cullen Crain and Henry Kelsey had multiple hits to lead the offense, and Christopher Promades scored two runs for Barrington.
"All of the 10U All-Stars played an important part winning this game," wrote Barrington team manager Chris Promades in a recent email.
Barrington will face Bristol in the 10U District 2 All-Star Championship on Saturday, July 15 at 5:45 p.m. in Bristol.
