Lindsey Kloc, a 2015 graduate of Barrington High School and rising junior at Hobart and William Smith Colleges recently competed in the ICSA College Sailing Nationals, held recently in Charleston, S.C.
In the Team Racing Championships, Lindsey sailed with sophomore Charlie Miller in both the semi-finals and finals where the team finished fifth overall.
In the Fleet Racing Championships, Lindsey sailed 13 of 17 races with junior Greiner Hobbs, finishing top 5 in seven races and winning races 6 and 7, to finish second overall in A Division and just three points out of first. They led the team to a 5th place finish overall.
This was Lindsey’s second trip to college nationals, having sailed in the Women's and Fleet Racing Championships as a freshman.
