Moses Brown scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back, crushing the Eagles 21-1 on Thursday, April 4. 

Barrington scored its run in the first inning, but was unable to keep pace with Moses Brown's offense. Maia Villarica had a double and scored on a passed ball. 

Jenna Macaluso and Grace Senechal shared pitching duties for the Eagles. 

Barrington opened the season with a 2-1 loss to Cumberland on April 2. Sydney Hoover scored the Eagles' lone run.

Baseball

On Wednesday, April 3, Barrington lost 5-4 to Narragansett, in a rematch of last year's playoff series. 

Barrington opened the game with two runs in the bottom of the second and held a 3-2 lead going into the top of the fifth. But the Mariners plated two runs in that inning and an insurance run in the top of the seventh to hand the Eagles the loss.

Henry Johnson and Josh Leadem shared pitching duties for Barrington. Johnson helped his own cause, going 3-for-4 and one RBI. Sam Tanous had two hits for the Eagles, who out-hit the Mariners 10-9, but had two errors also.

Girls lacrosse

Barrington is 2-0 after wins over East Greenwich (19-4) and South Kingstown (20-4) last week.

On April 4, Barrington blasted the Rebels. Tess Gagliano scored six goals and had three assists to lead the Eagles, while Kate Robertson had four goals and two assists and Reilly Curran added three goals and three assists. Elizabeth Lewis had a goal and three assists in the victory.

On April 1, Barrington rolled over the Avengers. Gagliano had six goals and one assist while Robertson scored four goals and had three assists. Curran scored four goals and had one assist and Alexy Carolan added three goals. 

Caileigh Durkin made seven saves for the Eagles.

Boys volleyball

The Eagles are 1-2 through the first three matches of the season. Barrington's win came on April 4, when the Eagles defeated Woonsocket 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-19). Barrington's losses came against Cranston West (3-1) and Pilgrim (3-0).
