Blooming bulbs workshop with Quintessential Gardens at Mt. Hope Farm

This Thursday, April 6, discover beautiful Mt. Hope Farm and create a lovely spring centerpiece with some local blooms!

Enjoy an evening out with friends and Jessica Cook of Quintessential Gardens for, flower arranging, and tasty cocktails from Two Gals Cocktails.

With spring beginning and Easter around the corner, join in their shared hope for what is to come and get creative arranging locally grown spring ephemerals (bulbs, ranunculus, hellebores, forced branches). You will also discuss planting and growing some of these beauties in your own gardens.

All floral material and reusable containers are included. Please bring your own scissors or garden clippers.

Complimentary snacks will be provided by CP Catering.

WHEN: Thursday, April 6, at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Mt. Hope Farm, 250 Metacom Ave., Bristol

PRICING: $70 per member ticket, $75 per non-member ticket

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
