Mrs. Brenda F. (Conti) Medeiros, age 74, of 15 Annawamscutt Drive, Bristol, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Gilbert Medeiros, her husband of 48 years. Born in Providence and raised in Barrington, she was the daughter of Frank and Amielia (Santagata) Conti.

Brenda worked at the Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth as a group leader and supervisor for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Radiant Christian Assembly of God Church in Warren. Brenda was an accomplished artist, working in water color and stained glass, she was a member of the RI Water Color Society and she donated one of her stained glass creations of butterflies that is now displayed in the lobby of RI Hospital.

She was an active member of the Front Line Ministries group and she was a former member and a past deacon of the First Baptist Church of Bristol. Brenda enjoyed knitting, and made many handcrafted items for local children’s charities and the Ronald McDonald house in Providence.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Kristin Flood (Patrick) of Exeter and Marc John Medeiros of Bristol, two step-children, Dyann M. Nunes (Robert G.) of Taunton, MA and Gilbert W. Medeiros (Kathleen Newman) of Narragansett, seven grandchildren; John, Caitlin, Michael, Kelly, Aryanna, Jordan and Jarod and two great grandchildren; Issac and Angelina, a sister, Darlene Conti of Cranston and two aunts, Marie Oliver (Jack) of East Providence and Esther Marcozzi (Ralph) of Wilmington, DE.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in celebration of her life on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 12:00 Noon in the Radiant Christian Assembly of God Church, 895 Main Street, Warren, RI. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
