Bristol arrests: Assault, vandalism, DUI, and more

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests this week:

Lorenzo Smith, 34, of 293 Oxford St. Apt. 2, Providence, was arrested on a Providence Police warrant for a charge of domestic felony assault. He was taken into custody at the State Street Dock just after midnight July 4.

Lindsey Carillo, 27, of 58 Cypress St., East Providence, was charged with simple assault, assault on an officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police responded to a disturbance on Thames Street at 12:30 a.m. July 4.

Emanuel T. Tavares, 32, of 216 Franklin St., Apt. 1, Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called to Hope and Franklin streets for reports of a fight in progress.

Jake Angus Heaton, 20, of 32 Blackberry Lane, Chelton, Conn., was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test and underage possession of alcohol after he was pulled over on Thames Street just after 1 a.m. July 5.

Richard Robert Lynch, 32, of 322 Wood St., Apt. 2, Bristol, was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous charge of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver.

Jennifer L. Aguiar, 27, of 31 Franklin St., Apt. 2, Bristol, was charged with simple assault July 6.

Bill T. Waleryszak, 28, of 5 Chilton St., Bristol, was charged with violating a no contact order July 7.

Thomas J. Sousa Jr., 40, of 7 Parker Ave., Warren, was charged with domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct after police were called to Fales Road for a family disturbance around 11:30 a.m. July 8.

Christopher R. Dashnaw, 30, of 412 Mitchells Lane, Middletown, was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant.

Chad D. Travers, 30, of 776 Metacom Ave., Apt. 3, was charged with domestic vandalism after police were called to Mt. Hope Avenue for a domestic disturbance just before 9 p.m. July 9.
