Bristol arrests: Domestic assault, counterfeiting, and more

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests last week:

Muhammad Yasin, 48, of 2 Meadow Circle, Barrington, was charged with forgery/counterfeiting Dec. 19. Click here for more details on the felony charges.

Edwin F. Azevedo, 35, of 17 Taylor Ave., East Providence, was arrested on a Warren affidavit for fraud. He was taken into custody at State and High streets Dec. 19 and brought to Warren.

Bristol juveniles arrests in separate theft, vandalism incidents

Simon P. Barreira, 49, of 38 Franklin St., Bristol, was arrested on a Tiverton Police Department warrant Dec. 22.

Mercedes Machado, 25, of no permanent address, was arrested on a RI State Police warrant for charges of obstructing an officer and driving without a license.

Bill T. Waleryszak, 27, of Sweeney Lane in Bristol, was charged with domestic assault, domestic disorderly conduct, domestic vandalism and possession of narcotics. He was taken into custody at Metacom Avenue and Franklin Street at 12:30 p.m. on Christmas Day and transported to the ACI.
