Bristol arrests: Strangulation assault, threats, weapons charges

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests this week:

Michelle L. Schultz, 34, of 186 Vernon St., Warren, was charged with breaking and entering into a house and conspiracy Nov. 14.

Derek J. Renaud, 34, of 186 Vernon St., Warren, was charged with breaking into a home and conspiracy on Nov. 15. He also reportedly had an outstanding warrant from the Warren Police Department for fraudulent use of a credit card.

Michelle M. Teixeira, of State Street, Bristol, was charged with domestic assault.

Joseph G. Demelo, 25, of 3 Roosevelt Drive, Bristol, was charged with domestic disorderly conduct Nov. 16.

Joseph G. Demelo, 25, of 3 Roosevelt Drive, Bristol, was charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of violating a no contact order on Nov. 17.

Zachary D. Leonard, 26, of 131 Annawamscutt Drive, Bristol, was charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapon.

Sarah J. Hirschy, 41, of Goulart Avenue, Bristol, was charged with domestic assault by strangulation and domestic disorderly conduct after police were called to the area for a disturbance at 8 p.m. Nov. 18.

Philip Neamonitis, 19, of 85 Red Oak, Fairfield, Conn., was charged with underage possession of alcohol after police were called to a loud house party at Hopeworth Avenue and Viking Drive at 11:30 p.m.

Jose M. Mestre, 57, of 22 Academy Ave., Bristol, was charged with driving under the influence, .15 or greater.

Valdemiro Loras, 31, of 7 Ursula Drive, Apt. 3, Bristol, was charged with violating a protective order, trespassing, resisting arrest, threats to public officials and possession of prohibited weapons other than firearms on Nov. 19. Police had been called to Wood Street for reports of a dog bite.
