Bristol arrests: Weapons violation, domestic assault and more

The Bristol Police Department made the following arrests last week:

Joseph N. Paquette, 46, of 673 Metacom Ave., Apt. 43, Bristol, was charged with domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and refusal to relinquish a phone after police were called to Vet’s Park on Wood Street at 6 p.m. July 18 for reports of a verbal argument between a man and a woman.

Matthew J. Thurber, 24, of 26 Verndale Circle, Bristol, was charged with violating a no contact order after police were called to Wood and Hope streets just after 11 p.m. for reports of an argument between a man and a woman.

Felix Hernandez, 20, of 161 Waldo St., Providence, was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant on Metacom Avenue at 8 p.m. July 20.

Kalin Shinebarger, 21, of 427 Wickenden St., Providence, was charged with domestic assault, domestic disorderly conduct and vandalism after she called police just before 11 p.m. July 21 during an argument with her boyfriend. She took off on foot after the fight and police caught up with her on Evangeline Court.

Nicolai Gunnar Pedersen, 19, of 52 Viata Del Valle, Rachos de Taos, New Mexico, was charged with weapons violations and cited for possession of marijuana after police were called to Town Common for a narcotics complaint at 7 p.m. July 22. Police reports did not specify what weapon he was carrying, noting it was not a gun.
