Bristol PD: Four arrests, including one juvenile

Monday, June 19
A cyclist was reported on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 9:46 a.m. The RI Bridge and Turnpike Authority reported they safely exit the bridge shortly after.

Police received a report of an unruly guest at the East Bay Food Pantry at 2:22 p.m.

An incident at Hopeworth Park at 4:22 p.m. involving a girl being wounded by an airsoft BB gun was looked into by police.

An assault was reported on Beatrice Lane at 5:09 p.m.

A dog-on-dog assault was reported near Annawamscutt Drive and King Philip Avenue at 7:23 p.m.

Tina Pereira, 35, of 12 Baker St., Bristol, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. following an incident on Mt. Hope Avenue. She was charged with four total counts of domestic violence (two counts of vandalism, one count of simple assault and/or battery, and one count of disorderly conduct, all first offenses). She was arraigned and released.

Tuesday, June 20
An unruly customer at Walgreens on Metacom Avenue prompted police action at 5:29 p.m., and the management asked to have the person trespassed to avoid future encounters.

Wednesday, June 21
Ryan DuPuis, 34, of 46 Wilbur Ave., Warwick, turned himself in on a warrant at 11:00 a.m. He was charged with larceny in excess of $10,000 and breaking and entering. He was transported to district court.

Flowers were reportedly stolen from a lamp post near Hope and Wardwell Streets at 1:34 p.m.

Thursday, June 22
Authorities were called to Asylum Road at 12:45 p.m. for a red tailed hawk that got caught in a soccer net. The animal was eventually freed, and DEM was advised.

Police dispersed arguing people from the Town Common at 4:12 p.m.

Friday, June 23
Lauren Ibbotson, 37, no address provided, was arrested following a report at 10:12 a.m. that a woman was looking into vehicles near Hope and Oliver Streets. She was charged with a bench warrant from the 6th District Court and was transported there later.

An Ellen Street resident reported that a man was flying a drone close to her head at 2:36 p.m.

Saturday, June 24
The state police were contacted at 10:18 a.m. involving a possible assault that occurred at the Rhode Island Veterans Home.

A caller reported at 8:58 p.m. that there were multiple people arguing outside a Metacom Avenue address, and one possibly mentioned having a knife. Warren was called for mutual aid.

Police dispersed a group of more than 15 people who were reportedly arguing loudly at 9:11 p.m. at the Town Common.

Sunday, June 25
A man spoke to police about his bike going missing from the area of the Town Common at 12:25 a.m.

A kayak was reportedly stolen overnight from Hope Street.

Police tried to speak with a man who was seen near Hope Street and Gibson Road wearing nothing but a bathing suit at 8:40 p.m. He refused to speak with officers and continued his journey along Hope Street going south.

A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested at 9:26 p.m. on High Street following the report of a fight. They were charged with one count of disorderly conduct and released to a parent.
