Bristol PD: Man arrested for indecent exposure

Monday, June 5
Theft from a landscaping trailer was reported on Gooding Avenue at 7:30 a.m.

Fraud was reported on Thompson Avenue at 12:59 p.m.

A vehicular accident that resulted in injuries occurred on Metacom Avenue at 1:37 p.m.

A caller reported a drunk man was shouting profanities at passersby near Wood and Franklin Streets at 2:42 p.m. He was gone when police showed up.

Michael Brum, 52, of 118 Church St., Apt. #2, Bristol, was arrested following an incident on Church Street involving somebody harassing people from a window. He was charged with disorderly conduct (indecent exposure). He was arraigned and transported to the ACI.

Tuesday, June 6
John A. Stanzione Jr., 35, of 3 Easterbooks Ave., Bristol, was arrested on a warrant on Broadcommon Road at 3:52 p.m. He was charged with simple assault and/or battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. He was arraigned and released.

Robert Major, 45, of 45 Sowams Drive, Bristol, was arrested on a warrant at 4:39 p.m. He was charged with three counts of domestic violence (simple assault and/or battery, vandalism, and disorderly conduct, all first offenses). He was arraigned and released.

Wednesday, June 7
The theft of tools from Franca Drive was reported at 10:27 a.m.

A report of a possibly stolen motorcycle was logged on Constitution Street at 11:49 a.m.

Vandalism was reported at the Bristol State House on High Street at 3:22 p.m. Discarded containers and spray cans were found at the scene.

Jose Gomes, 31, of 48 Mapledale St., Coventry, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. on Wood Street. He was charged with failure to appear for two superior court bench warrants and was transported to the ACI.

A large gathering of what the report indicated might have been Mt. Hope High School students was reported at Narrows Point at 8:34 p.m. A small fire was extinguished at the scene and the party was dispersed.

Thursday, June 8
A truck hit a fence on Wood Street at 1:20 p.m.

A caller on Bay View Avenue reported being the recipient of a fraudulent check at 5:36 p.m.

Police received a report that juveniles were being loud and using vulgar language at the Town Common at 7:32 p.m.

Friday, June 9
Rhode Island Energy was called to Broadcommon Road at 6:29 p.m. when a passerby reported a pole was arcing in the area.

Saturday, June 10
Two men who were reported as suspicious evaded police on foot after a pursuit near Franklin Street and Metacom Avenue at 3:29 a.m.

Animal control was told of kittens located along a fence near Tupelo Street and Metacom Avenue at 7:14 p.m.

Sunday, June 11
A Bay View Avenue resident reported there was paint on their vehicle at 12:50 p.m.

A Hope Street business reported an unknown animal was in their store at 6:07 p.m. They were advised to call a pest control company.

Monday, June 12
Edmund J. Pittsley, 43, of 192 Providence St., Rehoboth, Mass., was arrested on a warrant after being picked up by State Police in Lincoln at 3:25 a.m. He was charged with larceny of less than $1,500 and tampering with a vehicle.
