A caller reported there was excessive noise coming from an exhaust fan at the high school at 1:53 p.m.

Police intervened on Franklin Street where a man was walking in the middle of the road at 3:59 p.m.

A caller reported that a raised structure in the road on Peckham Place damager their vehicle at 9:40 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 29
Police searched for two women on Magnolia Street who were reportedly looking under vehicles at 4:33 a.m. They didn’t locate the suspects.

A caller reported that their pocket book was stolen while parked at the Stop & Shop parking lot on Metacom Avenue at 2:47 p.m.

A parked vehicle was reportedly broken into on State Street at 3:05 p.m., causing damage to the car.

A Perry Street resident complained at 5:04 p.m. that a neighbor was getting lawn trimmings on their property.

The harbor patrol advised police that there were several people swimming at the base of the Mt. Hope Bridge at 6:22 p.m. Police advised and dispersed four college students from the area.

Wednesday, Aug. 30
A report of multiple people with flashlights inside a newly constructed home at 8:26 p.m. on Patricia Ann Drive turned out to just be contractors working on the new home.

Thursday, Aug. 31
A Second Street resident reported that stickers were being placed on vehicles at 11:15 a.m.

Friday, Sept. 1
Two people were dispersed from the area of Thames and State Streets at 1:08 a.m.

The harbor master requested that someone be removed from their office on Church Street at 12:14 p.m. Police dispersed the individual.

Rhode Island Energy was called to High Street at 1:54 p.m. following a report of smoke coming from an electrical panel. They were able to remedy the situation.

A dog bite was reported on High Street at 3:55 p.m., which required a rescue to be called.

Another call, this time on Prospect Street at 7:26 p.m., involved a man reporting that he was walking and was bitten by a dog. He said the woman with the dog retreated into their home.

Saturday, Sept. 2
Police dispersed a man from Ryan Avenue at 1:18 a.m. after someone reported they had someone banging on their apartment door for the past 10 minutes.

An Amazon delivery truck reportedly caused damage to a stone wall on Butterworth Avenue at 11:26 a.m.

A broken rear window was reported on Cliff Drive at 2:46 p.m.

The Bridge Authority, Bristol and Portsmouth PD were advised of a man standing on the Mt. Hope Bridge at 3:34 p.m. They found out it was a jogger who made it safely to the Portsmouth side.

A car window was reportedly broken on Metacom Avenue at 5:42 p.m.
Police looked into a report at 7:17 p.m. that juveniles were “hitting objects with a bat” near State and Second Streets.

Police looked for people reportedly being loud and “doing back flips off of vehicles” near Wood and Constitution Streets at 11:56 p.m., but no one was found in the area.

Sunday, Sept. 3
Police broke up a fight on Thames Street at 12:58 a.m.

A woman was reportedly run over by her own vehicle at Colt State Park at 12:55 p.m., causing an injury and requiring a trip to the hospital.

Police dispersed a woman who was reportedly trying to sleep in the public restroom on Thames Street at 5:26 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 4
A man and a woman sitting on a porch on Sandra Court were checked on as suspicious by police at 12:15 a.m. They learned they had simply been dropped off at the wrong house by an Uber.
