Bristol Theatre Company auditioning for holiday show

Bristol Theatre Company is holding auditions for "Tinsel & Tales, A Variety Show" on Oct. 17 and 18 from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at 235 High St., Bristol. The show will feature a variety of performers, including musicians, dancers, singers and actors; singles or groups welcome. For singing or dancing auditions, we ask that you bring an iPod or CD with your accompaniment. All audition pieces must be holiday themed, but are not limited to any specific genre. Auditions are open to ages 6 to adult. Show dates are December 8 & 9, with limited rehearsal dates TBA.  Any questions email BristolTheatreCompany@gmail.com.

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
