Caroling by horseback in Portsmouth this Sunday

PORTSMOUTH — For the fifth straight year, the Aquidneck Riders 4-H Club will be spreading holiday cheer as they ride around the Common Fence Point neighborhood and sing carols this Sunday, Dec. 18.

The horses will leave the VFW Post 5390 at 11 a.m. Non-perishable foods will be accepted to help support veterans this holiday season.

After the parade, snacks and drinks will be provided at the VFW.

For the safety of the riders, observers are asked to leave their pets inside.
