Celebrate Fall with Play Date at The Grace School at Meeting Street on October 14

The Grace School at Meeting Street will host a Fall Play Date at its Providence Campus on Saturday, October 14th for children of all abilities. Children and families will be able to play on Meeting Street’s fully-accessible playground and enjoy a host of fun fall activities including: crafts, pumpkin painting, a fall slime station, glitter tattoos, and healthy snacks.

The Grace School at Meeting Street is currently enrolling students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Prospective students and parents are invited to experience The Grace School’s unique learning environment which provides strong academics on a state-of-the-art campus; boasts two highly credentialed educators in each classroom; focuses on small group and individualized instruction; nurtures understanding of diverse racial, familial and socio economic populations while emphasizing respect, compassion, integrity, inclusivity and excellence. Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
