Christmas Festival brings seasonal magic to Bristol

Posted

The Bristol Christmas Festival brought seasonal magic to the downtown on Dec. 10 and Dec. 11 for a weekend of caroling, crafting, live entertainment and lots of tasty food to be bought and enjoyed amidst the magic. Over 28 vendors set up shop to sell wares and the second year of the European-style Christmas market was again a big hit with attendees. People also enjoyed the opportunity to take photos in a variety of festive places, like with a jolly living statue of Santa. The event was put on by the Bristol Christmas Festival Committee with the help of numerous sponsors, including East Bay Printing & Copying, the Bristol Merchants Association, Bank Newport, C. Brito Construction, Sunshine Fuels & Energy Service, Coastal 1 Credit Union, Pivotal Brewing Company, Gil’s Appliances, the John Andrade Insurance Agency, Inc., and Dave & Diane Scarpino.
