Claire J. Evans, 72, of Tiverton

Claire J. (Lebeau) Evans, 72, of Tiverton, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  She was the loving wife of Richard J. Evans.  Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Emile F. Lebeau & Clara (Bouvette) Lebeau.

Mrs. Evans worked as a waitress at Midway Restaurant for many years until her retirement. 

In addition to her husband, she leaves her loving children, Kathleen J. Kulpa and her husband Henry, Barbara J. Botelho, and Kelly J. Kulpa and her husband Bill, all of Tiverton.  She was the cherished grandmother of Ashley Evans, Dylan Kulpa, Samantha Kulpa, Victoria Kulpa, Jacob Kulpa, Morgan Kulpa, Cole Kulpa, Alexander Botelho, Nathan Botelho and great-grandmother of Wyatt Kulpa.  She was the sister of Emile F. Lebeau, Jr., William J. Lebeau, Juliette M. Ferreira, Richard Lebeau, Rose Trindade, Pauline Dumas, and the late Earnest Lebeau and Raymond J. Lebeau. 

Her funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home, 462 Main Road, Tiverton.  Burial will follow in Pocasset Hill Cemetery.  Calling Hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m.  For online messages of condolence, kindly visit www.almeida-pocasset.com
