'Daffodil Days' Spring Fling at Audrain Auto Museum

The Audrain Automotive Museum on historic Bellevue Avenue in Newport is hosting a Spring Fling in support of Newport in Bloom’s Daffodil Days on Friday, April 21. The enchanting evening among the automotive collection of historic automobiles includes silent and live auctions, live entertainment and a champagne toast to the Daffodil Day Queen and family. It takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Wear yellow and a daffily decorated hat – time to get daffy!

Proceeds benefit Newport in Bloom’s FREE Daffodil Bulb Give-away this October.
Tickets are $50 and include:
– Welcome glass of champagne
– Complimentary $10 Daffodil Pin for dining discounts at LaForge restaurant next door.
– Passed hors devours.

Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
