The woman, 27, was taken to hospital with what were called non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car has been identified as Daniel Major, 26.

Although speed is being considered as a factor, East Providence Police are still investigating the matter and no charges as of yet have been filed against Mr. Major. However, reached for comment Wednesday afternoon, EPPD Chief Christopher Parella motor vehicles charges at the least are pending.
