Norman Bird Sanctuary is hosting an Earth Week Extravaganza with an afternoon of celebration, storytelling, and science from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 22. Bring your family and friends, and find a comfy spot to sit, and join u a special performance on the green with two-time Grammy winning storyteller and musician, Bill Harley.
Adults and children are invited to celebrate the Earth with staff and educators at the sanctuary, alongside Bill’s enchanting energy and engaging musical performance, nature crafts, and guided discovery hikes around the trails. Enjoy the Extravaganza with a Native Seeding Celebration to plant your own vegetable seeds, create colorful seed bombs, paint pots, and learn about what makes the seeding of native plants so exciting and important.
Tickets are: $20 Adult Member | $10 Child Member (under 16) | $17 Member Student/First Responder/Veteran/Educator | $25 Adult Non-Member | $12 Child Non-Member.
