EAST PROVIDENCE — The East Providence Police Department announced late Monday evening, April 9, the recovery of a missing elderly woman.

EPPD Detective Lieutenant Ray Blinn said detectives from East Providence, with assistance from Pawtucket PD, were able to locate Pauline Flanagan at a Lonsdale Avenue in Pawtucket. Ms. Flanagan was safe and was back with family members.

Earlier Monday, EPPD issued a missing person, "Be on the lookout" advisory for the public’s assistance in locating Ms. Flanagan.

Ms. Flanagan did not return to a local rehabilitation facility after allegedly being dropped off at the entrance of the facility at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 8.

Ms. Flanagan was described as a white female, 63, with short pink hair. She also has a broken arm that is supposed to be in a halo brace. Facility staff and family members were concerned for her well-being and feared she was not able to care for herself in her present condition.
