Eleanor A "Lynn" (Wheeler) Eighme died peacefully at her home in Barrington on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2017.  She was 100 years old. She was the wife of the late Dr. Maurice E. Eighme.

Lynn was best known as a piano teacher and a pianist, and as an uncommonly pleasant person. She was a communicant of St. John's Episcopal church, where she was a member of the Altar Guild and the ECW, and volunteered at the Encore Thrift shop. She was also a member of the Barrington Woman's Club, RICC, and various music organizations.

Lynn is survived by three sons: Frank W. Eighme, of Oakland, Calif.; Gregory W. Eighme, of Cranston; and Scott F. Eighme and wife, Priscilla A. Eighme, of Barrington. She was the mother of the late Edward M. Eighme, and grandmother of the late Gregory K. Eighme. She leaves four grandchildren: Justin, Reid, Mark, and James; and four great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Donald Wheeler and Frederick Wheeler, and is survived by her sister, Isabelle Woodbine of Warwick.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice, 1085 N. Main St, Providence, RI  02904 would be appreciated.

He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
