Evelyn Pacheco, 86, of Bristol

Evelyn (Benevides) Pacheco, 86, of Bristol, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

She  was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Seraphin and Rose (Felise) Benevides.

Evelyn was an inspector for Raytheon for over 25 years, before retiring. She was a Bristol resident all of her life.

Mrs. Pacheco was a member of the Radiant Christian Church in Warren, and she was involved with their prayer groups. She was an avid reader,  and she also liked traveling and playing Bingo at the Senior Center.

Mrs. Pacheco is survived by two sons, Robert Pacheco of Bristol and Thomas Pacheco and his wife Deborah of Bristol, and a brother, Albert Benevides of Bristol. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was the grandmother of Casey Lynn Pacheco, Brittany Wasik, and Brooke Pacheco, and the great-grandmother of Olivia and Liam Wasik.

She was the sister of the late Henry Benevides.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Radiant Christian Church, 895 Main St., Warren. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, 1081 Hope St., Bristol.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Radiant Christian Church, 895 Main St., Warren, RI, 02885.
