Barrington families are encouraged to attend a workshop focused on anxiety and children on Wednesday, March 7 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Lynn Lyons, a specialist in the field of children's anxiety issues, will lead the workshop, which is sponsored by Barrington school PTOs. The workshop will be held at Barrington High School.

"This workshop will discuss concrete strategies parents and educators can use with children and teens for families to handle current anxiety and also to prevent the development of anxiety and depression later in life," stated a press release.
