Folks flock to fiddle fest

Annual event draws a crowd at Haines Park

Posted

Young and old made their way to Haines Park on Saturday afternoon for the seventh annual Fiddle n Folk Fest.

The fun event featured a number of talented performers, including Golden Bantams, Avalon Gypsy Band, French Roast, and Bay Spring Folk. Some folks brought along chairs and relaxed while listening to the music, while others got to their feet and danced along.

The Fiddle n Folk Fest was sponsored by RI State Council on the Arts, the Town of Barrington, Barrington Public Library, The Bay Team, Friends of the Bay Spring Community Center, Ocean Point Insurance, New Harvest Coffee, RIDEM and others.
