Frances R. Pacheco, 92, Bristol

Mrs. Frances R. (Rodrigues) Pacheco, 92, of 45 E St., Bristol, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at the Silver Creek Manor. She was the wife of the late Frank S. Pacheco. 

Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Mariano and Margaret (Marshall) Rodrigues. Frances was a waitress for many years for Rod’s Grill in Warren and later at the former Town Coffee Shop, formerly on State Street, Bristol, retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality.  
Frances is survived by three children, David F. Pacheco (Lita) of Las Vagas, NV, Frank Pacheco, Jr. (Karen) of Riverside, and Ann M. Fortin (Donat) of Bristol; seven grandchildren, Salvador Pacheco, Marilou Izquierdo, Mark, Tara and Alyssa Pacheco, and Samantha and Evan Fortin; five great grandchildren, Annette, Alfredo, Allen, David Thomas and Reese. She is also survived by a sister, Amelia Silva of Bristol, and many devoted nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Manuel, Mariano Jr., Joseph and Raymond Rodrigues; and two sisters, Mary Costa and Margaret Garcia. 

Her family would like to thank the staff of Silver Creek Manor for their tremendous care and devotion to Franny for these past five years. 

Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at 10 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Saturday morning only at 10 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Silver Creek Manor – Patient Activities Fund, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol, RI  02809.
