Frank Myslivy, Bristol

Frank Myslivy, born May 11, 1922 to Paul and Antonina (Wozniak) Myslivy, died January 27, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital.

He was the husband of Carmella (Tamburro) Myslivy of Bristol, RI and Jensen Beach, FL.

Frank served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a parishioner at the Blessed Trinity Parish in Fall River, MA.

He was predeceased by his only son, Frank K. Myslivy, brothers William, John, Thadeus, Joseph and Antone Myslivy.

Frank was an avid reader, loved to travel, fish, golf and spend time at the water. He especially loved his family.

He is survived by his only daughter, Janice (Myslivy) Kieron of Bristol, grandchildren, Paul Myslivy of CT, Tanya Kieron of Bristol, and Wendy Kieron-Sanchez of Tiverton, his great granddaughters Molly Myslivy and Isabelle Sanchez, and his only sister Pauline (Myslivy) Edmonson of Port Charlotte, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Blessed Trinity Parish.

Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited was held Saturday at 10:30 at Blessed Trinity Parish, 1340 Plymouth Ave, Fall River, MA 02721. Inurnment was in Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Fall River. Arrangements are entrusted to Boyko Memorial Funeral Home, 709 Broadway, Fall River, MA 02724. www.BoykoMemorial.com

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
