Genevieve V. Blinn, 94, Warren

Genevieve V. ( Gannon) Blinn, 94, of Warren, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Willian Blinn Sr.

Genevieve was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Chester and Genevieve V. ( Gannon) Hill. She was a dietary Aide for many years at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and also at Grace Barker Nursing Home.

Mrs. Blinn had lived in Warren since 1948, coming from Pawtucket.

Genevieve was very active in and enjoyed spending time at the Warren Senior Citizens Center. She was a member of the Sunshine Club there, and she loved to play bingo.

Mrs. Blinn is survived by her son, Kenneth Blinn and his wife Patricia of Warren; her daughter-in-law, Linda Blinn of Seekonk, MA; grandchildren Alysia Blinn, Valerie Blinn,William Blinn III, Ashley Sheridan, Kelsey Blinn and Corrie-Beth Blinn; she was also the great-grandmother of Stephen Saunders and Adrianna Blinn.

Mrs. Blinn was the mother of the late William Blinn Jr., and sister of the late Adele Hill and May Mathie.

Her funeral services were private. Calling hours and flowers are omitted. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Warren Senior Center, 20 Libby Lane Warren, RI, 02885.

Arrangements are by Smith Funeral and Memorial Services in Warren.
