Grand Jury indicts Fall River man on charges of molestation in East Providence

EAST PROVIDENCE — The Providence Grand Jury Wednesday, Feb. 10, reported out an indictment of Hubert Joseph, a Fall River man, with five counts of first degree child molestation and four counts of second degree child molestation.

Some of the alleged crimes took place in East Providence.

According to the findings, Mr. Hubert, 48 of 26 Odd St., is alleged to have committed the acts on a female city resident 14-years-old or under. The crimes took place over the course of over three years from February 11, 2012 to August 11, 2015 both in city and in Warren.

The East Providence and Warren Police Departments conducted the investigation. Mr. Joseph is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 2.
