Greenvale Vineyards Warm Up for the Holidays


From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 9, Greenvale Vineyards will host its Annual Warm up for the Holidays. The last of our weekly Jazz Tastings for 2017 will include vocalist Mary Andrews, Steve Heck on piano, saxophonist Dennis Cook and drummer Rick Wells. They will be performing holiday songs along with familiar and not so familiar other Jazz Great local stocking stuffers to shop include the recently released splits of Greenvale’s 2014 Chardonnay. Plus mulled wine with which to warm up. The Jazz Tastings are $15.00. There are seven wines to Taste plus the 2014 Chardonnay splits. If just the music there is a $3.00 music fee. Case club members and children free. A Fork In The Road, Blackstone Caterers delicious food truck will be on site during the afternoon and there will be a brush pile burn if it’s a cold beautiful sunny day!

Greenvale Vineyards is located at 582 Wapping Road in Portsmouth, along the Sakonnet River. Approximately 3,500 cases of wine are produced each year from twenty seven acres of vines, which include Alabarino, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Vidal Blanc, Cayuga, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec. All of the wines are made from estate grown grapes. The Tasting Room is open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
