Barrington police are looking for the individual who stole a motorized shopping cart from the Shaw's Supermarket in Barrington recently.
The store manager met with police on Tuesday, July 25, and told officers the cart had gone missing a few days earlier. Store employees did not file a complaint earlier because they were hoping the cart would be returned.
The cart is available for shoppers with physical limitations and is normally parked inside the foyer of the store.
The store manager said she was hoping police would keep an eye out for anyone driving a motorized cart down local roads. If anyone has information about the missing motorized shopping cart, they are asked to call Barrington police at 437-3930.
