The RI Home Show welcomes the return of the 2nd Annual Spring Flower & Garden Show as a major feature within the show April 5 to 8 at the Rhode Island Convention Center. Thousands of fresh-cut flowers will be on display, as well as 10,000 square feet of dedicated garden space. Additional unique garden vignettes will include hanging gardens, water features, a lush greenhouse, living walls, zen garden, and an outdoor living hardscaped area.

WHERE: The Rhode Island Convention Center, Sabin St., Providence
WHEN: Thursday through Sunday, April 5-8
COST: $10 and tickets are valid for up to three re-entries; kids ages 15 and under are free

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
