A 15-year-old boy with alcohol poisoning was taken to Rhode Island Hospital early Saturday morning, July 4. Police were dispatched to Water Street at 1:28 a.m. by the boy’s parents, who said he and another boy, 17, came home highly intoxicated. Warren police noted that the younger boy was unconscious and having difficulty breathing, and rescue crews transported him to Rhode Island Hospital. Though the older boy was also drunk, the parents opted to keep him in Warren though police suggested that he could  be taken to Hasbro Childrens’ Hospital. Police said the boys had supposedly been to the carnival in Bristol, but would not tell adults where they’d spent the entire evening, or where they got the alcohol.
