Jasmine Leeming, Little Compton

Posted

Jasmine Leeming entered into eternal rest on Holy Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was the the daughter of Robert Chase Leeming and Jillian Daigle and the beloved granddaughter of Robert M. and Sharon Leeming with whom she lived.

She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Parish School where she received the sacraments of initiation and had many dear teachers and friends. She attended The Met School in Newport where her interests in photography and drawing were cultivated and encouraged. Jasmine enjoyed capturing the natural environment in her photography and artwork. Her art displayed her creativity and invoked thought and comment.

Her Met family was dear to her, in particular her advisor, Rich Ferri, and her best friend in life, Jack Field. The family also expresses their gratitude to Sonya Ford for her guidance and presence in Jasmine’s life.

Jasmine also leaves behind her younger sisters, Amanda and Isabella, and her little brother Caleb; her maternal grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins on both her maternal and paternal sides.

Jasmine recently received a letter of acceptance to her first college choice, Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fla., for the fall of 2016. Jasmine had an unforgettable smile. She was funny, smart and talented. She will be cherished and missed forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Met School, 115 Gerard Avenue, Newport, RI 02840. Arrangements by the Fern Acres Funeral Home, Little Compton.
