Joseph A. Levesque, 78, Tiverton

Joseph A. Levesque, 78, of  Tiverton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Landry) Levesque. Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph F. Levesque and Lillian (Berube) Levesque. Joe was a well-known, loved, and respected bartender for most of his life, serving many cocktails at Capriccio Restaurant until his retirement.  Joseph was also a US Air Force veteran.

 Joe loved spending time with his family  playing hi-lo jack, cribbage and canasta, and liked winning as well!  He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed attending games with his sons.

Besides his wife Kathleen he is survived by his loving children, Karen Dore and her husband Jeffery of Tiverton, David Levesque and his wife Natalie of Narragansett, Brian Levesque of California, and Jeffery Levesque Russo of Florida. He was also the cherished grandfather of Justin and Josh Dore and Jessica and Lacey Levesque. Joe was also the dear brother of David Levesque of Cranston and the late brother of Lawrence, Joan, Ann Marie Levesque, Lillian Pistachio and Elieen Saccoccia. 

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston, followed by military honors. Burial will be private.  Visiting hours: Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s name to: RI-MA Regional Safety NET Program, American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rochville Pike, Suite #300, Rochville,MD 20852.   This organization took such good care of Joe for many years and was very dear to his heart.  Visit NardolilloFH.com for online condolences.
