It is with great sorrow that the family of Joseph DePalma, 78, of Bristol announce his passing on De. 2, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Pauline (Rinaldi) DePalma. Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mabel (Lopes) DePalma.
Joseph was a self-employed barber for more than 30 years. Joseph began cutting hair at the age of 12, with his father, Tony “Brush” DePalma. Before starting his own barber business, Joseph was a union carpenter for more than 20 years.
Joe was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed cruising in his ’57 Chevy with his wife on the weekends. In his earlier years, he was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He most especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Rinaldi) DePalma, his son, Dean J. DePalma, and his wife, Meredith. Also survived by his loving granddaughter, Gianna DePalma, his brother-in-law, Ronald Rinaldi and wife Patricia, as well as his niece and nephews. He was the brother of the late Stella Ambrose, Marianne Sicignano and Anthony DePalma.
