KIDS PLAY WITH THE PAST: THE BURNING OF BRISTOL

Come find out why the British burned Bristol in 1778 and also join Mr. Battcher as he opens his BOX OF AMAZING HISTORY.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with special events at 11 a.m. and again at 1 p.m.

Historic games, puzzles, coloring and crafts.

KIDS will make their own (pretend!) fire torch.

11 a.m. Join the 2nd Rhode Island Regiment as they lead a march around the Town Common (weather permitting) AND watch as they unpack their bags to show what soldiers carried with them to war.

1 p.m. Join Mr. Battcher and his assistants on a walk to see the sites which were burned by the British.
