Letter: Bristol holiday events are fast approaching

Posted

The holidays are fast approaching and it is never too early to get into the spirit of the season.

To help achieve this, an initiative is under way to promote all the exciting holiday activities open to Bristol residents and visitors through the creation of a community-wide calendar of seasonal events.

This printed holiday event calendar is being produced by the Bristol Christmas Festival Committee and the Bristol Merchants Association. The calendar will be distributed widely throughout Bristol.

Thank you for allowing this letter to serve as an invitation to all local organizations to submit information about their open-to-the-public holiday season activities by sending details to info@ChristmasBristolRI.com. Submissions should include event time, place, description, ticket price and contact information.

Events should be submitted by Oct. 10.

Michael Rielly

Mr. Rielly is chairman of the Bristol Christmas Festival Committee.
