Letter: Brownell Library thanks book sale helpers

Posted 8/14/17

To the editor:

We would like to thank all those who helped make The Friends of the Brownell Library annual book sale on Saturday, August 5 such a success. We were blessed with a wonderful group of volunteers who moved a mountain of books on Friday, and helped with the organization of the tents.

We would like to thank all those who helped make The Friends of the Brownell Library annual book sale on Saturday, August 5 such a success. We were blessed with a wonderful group of volunteers who moved a mountain of books on Friday, and helped with the organization of the tents.

Although the weather was cloudy with showers on Saturday, we thank our wonderful turnout of book lovers who purchased a wide variety of the expansive collection – literally something for everyone. Last, but certainly not least, we are so grateful to the Little Compton Boy Scouts who came to our rescue at the end of the sale to help with the cleanup. All the money raised directly benefits the Brownell Library. We are so fortunate to have such a gem in our community. Thank you so much for your support.

Sincerely,

Dee Holliday & Roberta Shaw
