Desjardins offers remarkable credentials for schools

To the editor:

Margot Desjardins has the qualifications, experience, and right attitude to be an outstanding member of the Westport School Committee. Her credentials are clearly remarkable. Her experience as an award winning teacher, science curriculum innovator, principal of a charter school and superintendent of Westport schools, enable her to understand the needs and responsibilities of an entire educational system and provide her with the tools that are needed to restore its high quality.

We believe that she would succeed in working with other members of the School Committee and could be a unifying force. Westport is very fortunate that Margot Desjardins is willing to undertake this job at this difficult time for the Westport School System.

We urge you to vote for Margot Desjardins for the Westport School Committee.
